beliefs

I do not believe in group thought or aligning yourself with groups. When you align yourself with a group, you make yourself vulnerable to mob mentality. Mob mentality is extremely dangerous. Being anti-group thought is why I am registered as a non-partisan voter. You lose your individuality when you participate in group thought, and individuality is the most important thing you can have.I am a trans-inclusive radical feminist. I believe the patriarchy steals peace from every woman that lives in it. We must understand the long, systemic violence against women, violence that has predated every political and economic system that followed. If we do not, we cannot be free. We cannot escape what we refuse to see. Women need to know their own history and know what our matriarchs endured. In a capitalist, misogynistic society, choice is not free and we cannot 'choose'. This is because we are constantly in systems that only exist to keep us vulnerable. We are subject to violence at all times that is designed specifically to humiliate and disempower us, and we are still treated as inherently inferior. Men, regardless of how they came into manhood, are responsible for how they use that power. Our liberation will never be granted by men. It must be created by women, for women. Being marginalized in one way does not guarantee someone is safe, trustworthy, or “one of the good ones.” Our movements fail us again and again because they forget that identity alone does not prevent someone from perpetuating misogyny.
